The Clerk accepts requests via the following means:

  • Online: The Officer of the Court Remote Access (OCRA) is the only online portal available for submitting divorce record requests, but it can only be utilized by attorneys. Authorized users must request access to the portal by completing the OCRA Agreement for Local Users and return it in person, online, or by mail. Attorneys part of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Bar Association can use the portal for free, but non-local attorneys will have to pay a $25 per month registration fee. Payment can be made by credit card, cash, check, or money order.
  • By phone: Requesters can call (540) 564-3113 or (540) 564-3114 to obtain copies of civil records. This service costs 52¢ per page for plain copies and $2.08 per page plus a copy fee for certified copies payable by credit cards. Card transactions cost an extra 4% surcharge.
  • By mail: Submit a copy request with the appropriate check or money order fees and a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Civil Division. Mail services attract a 50¢ per page copy fee and $2 plus 50¢ for certified copies.

The Rockingham County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office provides access to Harrisonburg County marriage records online, by phone, mail, and in person. Certified copies of marriage certificates cost $2.50 each. The Clerk accepts payments by cash, checks, money orders, and credit cards, depending on the request method.
